Here are some more pics that I took with my new lens. Here are the rest of the band pics. They were taken from the back of the church auditorium.

Here are some pictures I took with my new lens on my Rebel XT. pics were taken at various exposures at ISO 100, with the lens extended all the way out to 300mm. The pictures of the trees were shot in low light on a tripod in my moms bedroom looking outside the window, because it was like 5ยบ outside at the time. On the tree shots, the lens was wide open at f5.6.

Another email...

A young blonde was on vacation and driving through the Everglades. She wanted to take home a pair of genuine alligator shoes in the worst way,
but was very reluctant to pay the high prices the local vendors were asking.
After becoming very frustrated with the "no haggle on prices" attitude of one of the shopkeepers, the blonde shouted, "Well then, maybe I'll just
go out and catch my own alligator, so I can get a pair of shoes for free!"
The shopkeeper said with a sly, knowing smile, "Little lady, just go and give it a try!"
The blonde headed out toward the swamps, determined to catch an alligator.
Later in the day, as the shopkeeper is driving home, he pulled over to the side of the levee where he spotted the same young woman standing waist
deep in the murky bayou water, shotgun in hand.
Just then, he spotted a huge 9-foot gator swimming rapidly toward her.
With lightning speed, she took aim, killed the creature and hauled it onto the slimy bank of the swamp.
Nearby were 7 more of the dead creatures, all lying on their backs. The shopkeeper stood on the bank, watching in silent amazement. The blonde struggled but flipped the gator onto its back.
She rolled her eyes heavenward and screamed in great frustration................
"NOOOO!... THIS ONE'S BAREFOOT, TOO!"

Being seventeen.

Well, I'm seventeen now. I must admit I don't feel any diffferent. I made 50 bucks in tips on my Birthday, but that's about the coolest thing yet.

SLOW DOWN!

Oh my goodness It's march first already. Why can't it stay February for a while longer. Being sixteen was so much fun. I don't really want to be seventeen. But ohwell, I've got two days left to enjoy.
